A distribution list can be created as a way to choose who will receive certain notifications/communications and who will be assigned to complete certain Wellness Activities. To create and configure a distribution list, navigate to:
ADMIN PORTAL > NOTIFICATIONS > DISTRIBUTION LISTS
Click
on the +Create Distribution List button in the upper left corner of
the DISTRIBUTION LISTS page.
From here, you have 2 options to create a new distribution list:
OPTION 1 – SELECT A PREDEFINED DISTRIBUTION LIST
There are many predefined distribution lists to choose from, which are based on the risk factor (low, moderate, high) from various Health Risk Assessment categories/data.
- Name - The templated distribution list name will appear, but the name can be changed using this field.
- Description - Enter a description of your distribution list.
- Add Users From – Choose from All Users, Registered Users, or Unregistered Users. If you leave this blank, no users will automatically be included in your distribution list and you can manually add users later.
- Gender – Enable to add gender criterion and choose from Male, Female, or Both.
- Age – Enable to add age criterion and choose from All or Range. If range is selected, enter the age range.
- Risk Condition – The Risk Factor will default to that which corresponds to the distribution list you selected, but it can be modified if needed. Choose the appropriate Condition and Value for this distribution list. You can add multiple risk conditions by clicking the Add Risk Condition button and filling out the fields.
- Click Save.
- Once your distribution list has been created, it will show up on the DISTRIBUTION LISTS page. From here, the following options are available:
- Edit the distribution list
- Upload an Excel file of users to include in the distribution list (a sample data file can be downloaded from the top left corner of the DISTRIBUTION LISTS page)
- View users included in the distribution list and add/edit/delete users (all users who meet the criteria established in your distribution list will automatically be included, but you can modify the list of users)
- Export a list of users included in the distribution list
- Delete the distribution list
- Make the distribution list inactive
Your newly created distribution list is now ready and can be used to assign activities and/or send notifications.
OPTION 2 – CREATE A CUSTOM DISTRIBUTION LIST FROM SCRATCH
From the DISTRIBUTION LISTS page, click the +Create Distribution List button in the upper left corner, which will take you to the PREDEFINED DISTRIBUTION LISTS page. From this page, click the Create Custom Distribution Lists button that appears in the upper right corner. The CREATE DISTRIBUTION page will display where you can complete the following fields:
- Edit the distribution list
- Upload an Excel file of users to include in the distribution list (a sample data file can be downloaded from the top left corner of the DISTRIBUTION LISTS page)
- View users included in the distribution list and add/edit/delete users (all users who meet the criteria established in your distribution list will automatically be included, but you can modify the list of users)
- Export a list of users included in the distribution list
- Delete the distribution list
- Make the distribution list inactive
Your newly created distribution list is now ready and can be used to assign activities and/or send notifications.
