Send Event Communication

Once an event has been created, you can send an email notification to those participants who are eligible to register for the event.  Navigate to the Events page as follows.

ADMIN PORTAL > PROGRAMS > EVENTS > SEND EVENT NOTIFICATION

Upon clicking on the PROGRAMS section and then EVENTS, a list of all the created events will appear on the page.  Choose the event for which you want to send an email notification, go to the Action column, and look for the bell icon (it will display Send Event Notification if you hover your mouse over the icon). After clicking on the SEND EVENT NOTIFICATION icon, a pop-up window will appear with fields for the email subject and description.

  • Email Subject – We recommend the email subject be as relevant as possible to the event and be attention-grabbing so the recipient will open and read the email.
  • Email Description – This is the body of the email where you can provide a description / details about the event, the benefits of attending, etc. to make the event interesting and to improve user engagement.
Once the subject and description are complete, click on SEND, and the notification email will be sent to the eligible users.
